Back in March at the AGM I said that we were in 'Strange Times'. Little did I know how strange or how long they might continue. What the future holds we don't know.
So far the TRP/Welsh National Opera have cancelled 'The Marriage of Figaro' and Birmingham Royal Ballet's 'Swan Lake' and 'The Kite Runner' have both been rescheduled.
The latest SHTCC programme doesn't apply any longer but maybe one day we will have a new programme going forward.
We have attempted to help the Theatre Royal, Plymouth in what must be awful times. We really want them to keep going! We have not insisted on refunds as far as possible and have donated £1,000 to their emergency appeal.
I will endeavour to keep you posted when there is any news.
